Olivia Prior Palomares is a highly accomplished biomedical engineer who has dedicated her career to helping others through the advancement of medical research. Olivia holds a Master's degree in Translational Medicine from the University of California, Berkeley and has studied at various institutions around the world, including the Institut polytechnique de Grenoble in France and Harvard Summer School in Massachusetts. With a passion for cancer research, Olivia is most interested in studying senescence, epigenetics, and early detection using nanotechnology. She hopes to make a positive impact on the world and the promotion of physician-scientists in her native Spain. Along with her impressive academic achievements, Olivia has gained valuable work experience serving as a research student for MTM Capstone Project at Nephrosant, Inc., a summer R&D intern at B. Braun Medical, and a research intern at J. Torrent Institute, Surgical Oncology. In addition to her research work, Olivia is an accomplished ukulele player and soccer player. She is also a skilled blogger and has experience as a hostess, waitress, and private tutor.
