Olivia Nero

Olivia Nero is the Director of Public Policy at AdvantAge Ontario, an organization dedicated to advancing senior care in the province. With a robust background in public policy, she has accumulated eight years of experience advising Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) and senior Cabinet Ministers within the Ontario government. This experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of provincial public policy, financial, and legislative processes, which she leverages to foster trust and positive relationships in her work.1

Nero holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Waterloo, where she also gained co-op experience. Her career trajectory includes significant roles such as Associate Director of Public Policy at AdvantAge Ontario before her current position, and she has served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Minister of Health and Long-term Care office. Additionally, she has worked in various capacities within the Ontario Government and Legislative Assembly.12
