Oliver Pawle is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance, corporate governance, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Chairman of Board Practice at Korn Ferry in London since 2007, he has played a pivotal role in top-level executive searches for high-profile Chairman, Non-Executive, and CEO positions.
In addition to his role at Korn Ferry, Oliver holds key advisory positions with prestigious organizations. He serves as a Senior Advisor to Gleacher Shacklock, a renowned investment banking boutique in London. Furthermore, he acts as the Chairman of the European Advisory Board at FTI, a prominent business advisory firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., United States.
Oliver's involvement extends beyond the corporate realm, as he contributes his expertise to various boards. He is a member of the advisory board at Digitalis, a rapidly growing digital company, and a part of the Advisory Board at Delancey Real Estate Asset Management. Oliver's professional journey began with a background in Economics, followed by qualifying as an ACA with PWC. He ventured into corporate finance with Barings in London and New York before joining County NatWest in 1980, where he spearheaded the development of their investment banking business in key Asian markets.
Subsequently, Oliver's career trajectory led him to UBS Phillips & Drew in 1986, where he ascended to the role of Managing Director and later Head of Corporate Broking. His leadership continued post-merger with SBC Warburg, where he assumed the position of Chairman of Corporate Broking and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking. Oliver's tenure at UBS culminated in his role as Vice Chairman of the Investment Banking Division before stepping down in April 2007.
