Critical Incident Response Team manages risk, in support of EMC’s mission to protect its brand image, intellectual property, comply with regulations and ensure workforce productivity, through: – Monitoring and responding to prioritizes threats to the EMC network and its resources – Implementation of innovative analysis techniques to maximize situational awareness to advanced threats – Managing and maintaining an intelligence and counterintelligence program to make actionable strategic and tactical decisions Responsible for monitoring and analyzing information security events to ensure a consistent and coordinated response to ongoing security threats. Provide triage level response to incidents identified as a threat to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of intellectual property, customer information or employee's personal identifiable information. •  Conduct technical assessments of computer related security incidents as it relates to malware, intrusion attempts, and system level log analysis •  Monitor the information collection and cataloging of activities from a variety of public and private security related information sources •  Document initial analysis of vulnerability reports and how they may relate to the organization •  Document incident response processes and procedures to support a unified response capability
