Oliver Haarmann

Oliver Haarmann is a prominent figure in the private equity sector, serving as a Founding Partner of Searchlight Capital Partners, an investment firm that manages over $10 billion. He co-founded Searchlight in 2010 alongside Eric Zinterhofer and Erol Uzumeri, and he plays a crucial role in overseeing the firm's operations through his participation in several committees, including the Investment Committee, Operating Committee, and Valuation Committee.123

Education and Early Career

Haarmann was born in September 1967 and holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Relations from Brown University, which he completed in 1990. He later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1996. Before establishing Searchlight, Haarmann had a significant career at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), where he was a senior partner and instrumental in developing KKR's European operations into one of the continent's leading private equity firms.134
