Oliver Hitchcock

Oliver Andrew Hitchcock is a dedicated physicist currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics at Stanford University, focusing on superconducting quantum circuits and quantum acoustics. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Physics, Math, and Astrophysics with a minor in Computer Science.

During his undergraduate years, Oliver worked on direct detection searches for dark matter. He gained practical experience at various prestigious institutions, including roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, a Production Associate at GE Healthcare, a Teaching Assistant at UW-Madison College of Engineering, a Summer Research Assistant at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Department of Physics.
