Odemi Pessu, MPA

Odemi Pessu is a Nigerian-American author, artist, and entrepreneur, known for founding Alaere Lifestyle, an online gallery and media publishing company. She holds a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree and is an alumna of Brown University.23 Alaere Lifestyle focuses on creating inspirational contemporary art and literature that celebrates Afro-indigenous womanhood and spirituality.13

Pessu's work emphasizes the connection between humanity, God, and Mother Earth, aiming to inspire a divine feminine awakening across African communities and beyond.1 She published her first book, "Force of Nature," in 2021 with New Degree Press.4 Additionally, she has been involved in events such as the Industry Night: Women in Business, Entrepreneurship & Finance hosted by the Brown Women's Network.2
