Raised in Iceland, Oddný honed skills in foraging, sustainability, and multitasking from a young age due to the necessity of being multi-skilled on the small island.
After immersing herself in a self-sufficient organic farm in Hawaii, she pursued further education in Business and Marketing at Oxford Open University and delved into the world of coffee and jungle trekking in Costa Rica.
Combining her marketing expertise, culinary experience, and passion for foraging, Oddný launched Öskubox in the UK, a venture inspired by Norse mythology and Icelandic culture, which garnered numerous awards and provided a creative platform for her team.
Despite running Öskubox, she also engaged in freelance marketing consultancy, showcasing her inherent ability to multitask effectively.
Currently, Oddný thrives in her role at AmSafe Bridport in marketing, where she plays a vital part in promoting design and development manufacturing for flight safety in the aerospace industry.
Beyond her corporate endeavors, Oddný remains dedicated to environmental conservation, particularly in saving the ash tree, by developing new ideas, products, and fostering relationships to emphasize the importance of preserving trees for wildlife, oxygen, shade, and health benefits.
