In his professional career, Octavio has held various roles at Arizona State University, such as Director of Global Outreach & Extended Education, Associate Director of Extended Education, and Interim Associate Director at Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Prior to this, he served as a Manager of Systems & Product Development and a Technical Support Analyst Sr. within the same institution, showcasing his extensive experience in the academic realm.

Furthermore, Octavio Heredia has honed his technical skills through roles as a Web Developer at Corporate Systems and as the WTOnline Lead Programmer at West Texas A&M University, highlighting his expertise in web development and programming.
