Nuwan Senaratna

Nuwan Senaratna is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in computer science, music performance, and business analysis.

He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University School of Engineering after pursuing a Bachelors Special Degree Programme in Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Colombo.

With a strong educational foundation, Nuwan has also acquired certifications in Computer Science from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and Piano Performance from ABRSM.

Throughout his career, Nuwan has worked with prestigious organizations, including holding roles as a Consultant at Strategic Building Innovation and WSO2, as well as serving as a Mentor at Hatch Works.

His professional journey includes stints as an Independent Consultant at The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, a Consultant at Dialog Axiata PLC, and a Consultant Architect at Codify.

Nuwan also founded ColomboLabs and gained valuable experience working at Facebook in various roles, such as Software Engineer and Engineering Manager.

Prior to his industry roles, he was involved in research at CIFE, Stanford University, and taught as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer at the University of Colombo School of Computing.

Nuwan's expertise spans software development, business analysis, and strategic consulting, showcasing his versatile skill set.

His background in music, reflected in his LRSM in Piano Performance, adds a unique dimension to his profile, highlighting his passion for music alongside his technical capabilities.
