Nuno Fernandes is a highly accomplished executive with a diverse background of leadership roles in both the education and technology sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of Ilumno, a leading educational company that offers access to high-quality, affordable education throughout Latin America, Nuno has had a tremendous impact on the success and growth of the organization. In the course of his career, he has held various senior-level positions at Ilumno, including Executive Vice President of Global Operations & Strategic Alliances, CMOO, and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Enrollment & Student Services. Prior to his time at Ilumno, Nuno worked for Bosch North America in roles that included Vice President of Marketing, Branding & Product Management, General Manager of Bosch Thermotechnology, Sales and Marketing Director for Latin America and Caribbean Islands at Bosch Brasil, and more.

Throughout his career, Nuno has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to business and society. In 2018, he was awarded the ICON Award in the Impact Category, which celebrates executives with the greatest marketing impact in the United States. In 2019, he was recognized as the Gamechanger Of The Year (in the Americas) by the ACQ5 Global Awards, in recognition of his business and social impact.

Nuno holds an MBA in Marketing from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Porto in Portugal. He has also completed executive education programs in leadership and change management at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, and in business strategy at Harvard Business School.
