With a deep understanding of the UK and international health and social care sectors, Nuno recognizes the potential of design, technology, and data science in transforming the delivery of social and health care services.

Nuno holds the belief that innovative digital solutions, IoT, and data science can play a key role in enhancing the sustainability of health and social care systems while enhancing the quality of life for both care recipients and professionals in these sectors.

Educationally, Nuno Almeida pursued an MSc in Automation and Robotics from Universidade de Coimbra and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra.

Professionally, Nuno has held various key roles including Chief Executive Officer at Nourish Care Systems, Founding Member at Care Software Providers Association (CASPA), Managing Partner at Almeida Consulting Ltd, Business Development Director and Managing Director at Critical Software, Integration Management/Advisor at AgustaWestland, Business Development Director and Programme Manager at Critical Software, and contributed to Applied Research in Device Design and Artificial Intelligence at Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa).
