Norman Gao

Norman Gao is currently the Chief of Staff / Investor at Deloitte Ventures, Deloitte Canada's dedicated corporate venture fund with a focus on early-stage product companies leveraging Deloitte's network to drive growth and provide cutting-edge solutions for clients.

Previously, Norman held the role of Chief of Staff for Deloitte Ventures and the Consulting Executive. He also played a key role in Deloitte's Analytics Division, Omnia AI, leading teams to advise senior leaders on AI and Analytics Strategies in various industries such as FSI, TMT, Public Sector, and Consumer sectors.

In the initial years of his career, Norman worked in Corporate Strategy at Monitor Deloitte, gaining experience in industries like TMT, Banking, Wealth, Insurance, Airline, and Retail. He holds an HBA degree from the Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from Western University in Media, Information, Technoculture.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Norman enjoys staying active through activities like running and volleyball, spending time with his dog Kaiser at the dog park, and volunteering at The Knowledge Society.
