    Norah Patten is an award-winning and purpose-driven individual with over 15 years of experience in the STEM sector, specializing in aeronautical engineering.

    She holds a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, is a global faculty member at the International Space University, and a renowned keynote speaker and competent communicator.

    Currently, Norah is a bioastronautics researcher at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS) Project PoSSUM, where she has been actively involved in citizen science campaigns.

    She has received prestigious awards such as the Emerging Space Leader Award, 2018 Limerick's Top 40 under 40, and the PoSSUM Science Educator award.

    She is the visionary behind 'The Only Way is Up' project, the first Irish student experiment tested on the International Space Station in 2014.
