Associate Director, Business Development at Klook
Noel Ng is a dynamic individual with a diverse professional background spanning over 6 years in the Airforce as an officer. During this time, he developed a keen interest in theatre and film, embodying a passion for creating new experiences, challenging conventions, and demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
His career trajectory shifted towards the tech industry, particularly in the fields of FnB, leisure, and tourism. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Business Development at Klook, Noel oversees all BD teams in Klook SG, showcasing his expertise in sales, account management, team leadership, strategic planning, and public speaking.
Educationally, Noel's foundation in Bio, Chem, Math, and Lit from Anglo-Chinese Junior College laid the groundwork for his Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies from Nanyang Technological University.
Throughout his professional journey, Noel has held key positions such as Regional Lead for Stay & Dine and F&B, Senior Manager for Business Development in SG/MY at Klook. Prior to this, he also served as Head of Sales at UMAI Restaurant Software and Media Secretary for NDP15 Air Part Committee at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore.
Noel's multifaceted skill set includes sales, account management, team management, strategy development, and public speaking, making him a versatile professional capable of driving business growth and fostering strong client relationships.
His past roles range from Deputy Officer Commanding to Account Management Intern at reputable organizations like McCann Worldgroup and Ministry of Education of Singapore, showcasing Noel's ability to adapt to diverse environments and excel in varied roles.
Outside of his professional commitments, Noel has also dedicated his time to coaching, serving as a Writing Coach at Nanyang Technological University, Creative Director at Nvision Pictures, and Destination ImagiNation Coach at Clementi Primary School. This highlights his commitment to nurturing talent and fostering creativity in different settings.
