Nkem Okeke

Nkem Okeke is a seasoned entrepreneur with a successful history of establishing and selling start-ups, including Uniwyze, Inc. and Adendox, LLC. Her expertise spans across various aspects of business such as operations, fundraising, marketing, product development, legal matters, and forging global strategic partnerships.

Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, Nkem co-founded and later divested a hemp-based wellness company named Florance™ and her share in Houston's prominent medical aesthetic laser clinic, Inkfree, MD™. Her professional background includes roles as a Senior Business Manager at Fannie Mae and a corporate transactional attorney at Verner, Liipfert, Bernard, McPherson and Hand (now known as DLA Piper), where she was engaged in diverse transactional projects involving contracts, leases, and joint ventures.

Nkem is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the District of Columbia Bar, holding certifications in mediation, negotiation, and project management. She holds a magna cum laude Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University, an M.B.A. with honors from the University of New Orleans, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Tulane University Law School. During her undergraduate years, she excelled in athletics, securing a full scholarship for NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball and serving as a team Captain and Most Valuable Player.
