Niti Bhan

Niti Bhan is a versatile and accomplished research-driven design consultant with expertise in strategy development and business modeling. With a focus on creating value in environments of scarcity and uncertainty, Bhan has worked with startups, global consumer brands, public sector institutions, and non-profits on projects involving market analysis, consumption behavior, and value chain mapping. Bhan is currently a doctoral student supervised by Dr. Tua Bjorklund at the Aalto University Design Factory, where she focuses on design methodology. Bhan is an alumna of the National Institute of Design and Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she studied product design and design planning, respectively. She has also earned degrees in Industrial & Production Engineering and MBA from B. M. S. College of Engineering and Katz Graduate School of Business. Bhan is a former Director of Graduate Recruiting at the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, former Senior Researcher at Aalto Design Factory, and former Owner of Emerging Future Lab.
