Niranjan Prasad is an experienced executive with over 23 years of experience in the field of Cyber Security, Risk Management, Compliance, IT Infrastructure, and CISO roles. He has deep expertise in Application and Infrastructure Security, IT Strategy, Cloud, Mobility, Enterprise Architecture, and current technologies such as Cloud, Mobility, Analytics, and Big data. He has held various roles in renowned organizations such as Accenture, Idea Cellular, Airvana, HCL, DSL, and Infosys.

At Accenture, he is currently serving as Vice President in the Security Practice, IT Strategy Consulting. In two stints as CISO, he led high-performance security teams from scratch and secured complex application landscape with a multi-layered security strategy. Furthermore, he is a compliance SME, and he obtained certifications such as ISO 27000, SAS70. At Infosys, he played a pivotal role in IT security architecture, BS7799 compliance, and IT Operations. He also set up OSDCs, implementing CA’s Unicenter TNG suite of tools for Infosys.

Niranjan Prasad pursued his MBA at IIM Calcutta and completed his postgraduate studies from the University of Cincinnati in Materials Science. He also studied Ceramic Engineering at IIT (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. Alongside his academic qualifications, he has undertaken postgraduate programs in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin.
