Niraj Varia

Niraj Varia is a highly successful investment director with a diverse professional background. He holds a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and French from Heriot-Watt University in Malaysia, and has worked with various organizations in different capacities over the years. Niraj's career began as a Group Risks Actuary at Munich Re, after which he worked as a Project Manager at McKinsey & Company. He then went on to become a Programme Director for Economic Development at Teach First before co-founding Ki.Chen, where he served as a partner. Niraj's experience also includes serving as a Director at NRV Consulting, Managing Director at Takamoto Biogas, and Consultant at Technoserve. He currently serves as an Investment Director at Novastar Ventures and has also held the position of Board Observer at On Purpose, where he later served as Chairman of the Board. He is highly skilled in finance, business development, econometrics, and project management, with a keen interest in economic development and sustainability.
