Nimmi Chilamkurti

Nimmi Chilamkurti is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in various roles within the field of education.

Nimmi Chilamkurti holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Public and Nonprofit Management from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Additionally, Nimmi has a B.A. in Public Policy and Economics from Duke University and a Master's in Education from Pace University.

Nimmi Chilamkurti has held several key positions at Alder Graduate School of Education, including Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director of Operations, Director of Operations and Finance, and Director of Operations. Prior to her role at Alder, Nimmi served as the Regional Director of Operations at KIPP NYC and also worked as an Operations Manager at the same institution.

Before transitioning into administrative roles, Nimmi Chilamkurti started her career as a 7th Grade Math Teacher at the NYC Department of Education. Nimmi also participated in the Teach For America program as a Corps Member, where she gained valuable teaching experience and developed a passion for educational equity and excellence.
