Nikolaj Nyholm is a seasoned entrepreneur and ex-venture capitalist with a focus on esports and gaming. Currently, he holds the positions of Founder and CEO at Scattershot, a game development studio concentrating on community-driven multiplayer experiences, and Founder and Chairman at Astralis, a prominent global esports brand. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Advisor at The Raine Group, a top-tier media and gaming investment bank.

Throughout his career, Nyholm has been involved in several successful ventures, including Polar Rose (acquired by Apple), Imity (acquired by Vodafone), Organic Network/OpenWRT, and Speednames (acquired by GroupNBT). He has also been an early investor in various notable companies like Neo4j, Seriously Digital Entertainment (acquired by Playtika), and Podio (acquired by Citrix), among others.

Nyholm has a diverse educational background, having studied at Tufts University, Roskilde University, and Universidad Nacional.
