Nihal Abbu

Nihal Abbu is a tech enthusiast who embarked on a journey of exploration early in life by disassembling computers and taking online courses before the age of 10.

As a dedicated community volunteer, Nihal has accumulated over 1000 hours of service with various local organizations, showcasing a strong commitment to giving back.

Currently, Nihal Abbu is the driving force behind Nonprofit Foundation, a unique nonprofit initiative led by the Gen Z generation, focused on empowering other nonprofits with technology, infrastructure, and strategic support.

Under Nihal's leadership, Nonprofit Foundation has made significant strides in the philanthropic world, offering free web hosting services, establishing a global Teen-Led Nonprofit community, and providing pro-bono consulting valued at over $10,000.

Additionally, the foundation has launched a virtual talent network for skilled volunteers and is in the process of creating a nonprofit tech accelerator and a groundbreaking financial transparency tool called Carefeed.

Nihal Abbu holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has a diverse educational background that includes studies at Research Triangle High School, Wake Technical Community College, and the Young Founders Institute.

With professional experience spanning organizations such as the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), District C, Zakat Foundation of America, and Duke University's FRC Robotics Team, Nihal has honed skills in web and social media management, team consultancy, community engagement, and project leadership.
