Niena Drake

Niéna Drake is an accomplished Emmy Award-Winning Producer/Writer, DJ, and Culture Strategist with over 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry.

Throughout her career, Niéna has worked with major brands, media, and tech companies like ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Viacom, Complex Media, REVOLT, BET, and many more, where she has significantly contributed to revenue growth, engagement, and diversity initiatives.

As a Senior Producer at Entertainment Tonight, Niéna led the digital production team and successfully launched multiple original digital shows. She has also produced shows for Complex Media featuring renowned personalities like Kanye West, Common, and President Barack Obama.

Niéna Drake is highly involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry. She serves as a Director at the Emma Bowen Foundation, an organization dedicated to placing minorities in internships and jobs at media, entertainment, and tech companies nationwide.

In her role as the Director of the EBF AMMP Network, Niéna focuses on supporting professionals of color, from recent college graduates to senior executives, by providing networking opportunities, career development workshops, and job referrals.

Apart from her professional engagements, Niéna holds an Honors B.A. in Broadcast Journalism & Media Management from Columbia College Chicago.

Her extensive experience spans various roles in organizations like Emma Bowen Foundation, DONE+DUSTED, Complex Networks, REVOLT MEDIA & TV, POPSUGAR, HGTV, Fox News, and many more. Niéna has also showcased her talents as an On-Air Host, DJ, and Music Curator at several radio stations and media outlets.
