Niels Oddershede

Niels Oddershede is an accomplished Digital Signal Processing Software Developer and Architect with a solid theoretical background in signal processing. He has extensive experience in both algorithm development in Matlab and real-time audio DSP embedded software implementation in C and assembler. With a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and an MSc. in E. E., he has vast knowledge and expertise in digital signal processing, leading teams, embedded DSP software, real-time audio, diagnostic ultrasound equipment, algorithm development, Matlab, assembler/C/C++/C#, and more.

His professional career includes leadership roles as lead developer, system architect, and scrum master in all phases of large software projects. With experience in managing development teams, he has worked with organizations like GN Hearing A/S and Fingerprint Cards. He was the Chairman and co-founder of HEOR Consult.

As an Ultrasound Imaging Engineer, System Architect, and DSP SW Developer, he has contributed to the development of various industry-specific software tools and technologies. During his time as a PhD student, he worked as a teaching assistant at the Technical University of Denmark and acquired valuable experience in software testing at Synergetic Computing Systems - SYCS.
