Niels Fluitman is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in project management, sustainability consultancy, industrial symbiosis, environmental sciences, and green energy.

Niels holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Leiden University and a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc.Eng.) degree from Aalborg Universitet, showcasing his strong academic foundation in science and engineering.

With a proven track record in leading projects, Niels currently serves as a Project Manager at Stichting MOED, building on his previous role as Project Manager for Energy Transition at Stichting DUW!

Niels has also excelled as a Sustainability Consultant in the field of Industrial Symbiosis, having worked as a freelance consultant, demonstrating his ability to deliver innovative solutions that promote sustainability and environmental stewardship.

His professional journey includes valuable experiences such as interning at NNE Pharmaplan's Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability department, participating in the Summer School on Climate Change Mitigation and Entrepreneurship at Climate-KIC, and contributing to Quality Assurance, Product Design, and KPI monitoring at European Pharma Group (EPG).

Niels has also made impactful contributions as an intern at the Mabuwaya Foundation, conducted research as a Bachelor Research Intern at CML (Institute of Environmental Sciences), advised on Green Energy initiatives at Blue Stone, and deepened his knowledge through a Minor in Sustainable Development at CML.
