Nicole Williams, MBA

Nicole Williams is an accomplished operations manager with over seven years of experience in budgeting, finance, and management. She has extensive experience working with NGOs and government agencies, including the Peace Corps and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Williams holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Music from Lawrence University.

As a Section Chief Budget Formulation at U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Williams is responsible for awarding and renewing personal service contractor contracts, budget formulation and execution, and expenditure analysis and presentation across multiple funding sources, including PEPFAR and USAID. She has also managed recruitment and hiring processes, as well as staff performance evaluations.

In her previous role as Director of Management and Operations at Peace Corps, Williams transformed under-performing teams into cohesive and efficient work units. She is a skilled project manager with experience in strategic planning and team-building. Additionally, Williams has extensive experience in event planning and breaking budget and finance stereotypes by finding creative solutions to funding roadblocks.
