Nicole Tisdale

Nicole Tisdale is a prominent figure in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Cyber Workforce and Education at The Aspen Institute since September 2022. She is also the founder and principal of Advocacy Blueprints, LLC, a position she has held since May 2022. Tisdale has extensive experience in cybersecurity policy, having previously worked as a Senior Advisor for Open Source Software Cybersecurity Policy at the Omidyar Network and as a Senior Fellow at the POPVOX Foundation.1

Her background includes significant roles in government, notably as a Director at the National Security Council within the White House from March 2021 to April 2022, and various senior advisory positions related to cybersecurity and election security policy with the Cambridge Global Advisors and the U.S. House of Representatives. Tisdale holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
