Nicole Thorpe

Nicole Thorpe is the founding Director of Cultinova / Experior Micro Technologies, with a mission to utilize ICT and Internet of Things technology for enhancing food production, urban design, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.

Her expertise lies in promoting sustainability and well-being in urban areas, focusing on healthy food systems, green infrastructure, and citizen engagement.

In addition to serving as the Vice Chair at Farm Tech Society and being part of the steering and advisory boards of industry associations such as the vertical farm institute (Vienna) and the UK Urban Agtech collective UKUAT, Nicole has a background in Business Development and Project Management.

She excels in multidisciplinary and cross-cultural team settings, having worked with public and private sector organizations across Europe, Asia, and the US.

Nicole has managed various R&D projects, including being the UK lead for CRUNCH, an EU-funded sustainable cities project involving partners from 9 countries.

Her intercultural skills and practical experience allow her to effectively contribute to multinational teams on diverse project themes and scales. Nicole is fluent in English, German, and Italian.
