Manage all aspects of Emory Business, 54-page, biannual magazine, from conception through printing and mail house distribution. In addition to writing and editing, I arrange and oversee photo shoots, design pages, hire and oversee freelance writers, photographers and other vendors, while managing a budget and timelines. My duties also include managing all or parts of various projects and collateral pieces and interacting with alumni, faculty, and corporate friends.

In addition to managing the online business journal, Knowledge@Emory, I became editor of Goizueta Magazine. In this capacity, infused the principles of journalism and knowledge of business to catapult the alumni magazine into a thoughtful, must-read business publication. 
My duties included interviewing key stakeholders about their needs, initiating stories that showcase the value of the degree programs, and collaborating with the senior leadership heads to create cover stories that offer strategic answers to business problems. 

Also, continued to assist with media relations by identifying faculty expertise and brainstorming story pitches as well as fielding incoming media requests. Work with reporters to ensure timely response for deadlines.

Managing Editor - Goizueta Magazine

Launched and managed Knowledge@Emory, an online business journal, offering six articles that highlight faculty expertise and insight on a variety of business topics and showcases thought leaders who visit the school. (Published 4/2001 to 9/2011)
•	Conceptualized and launched a year-long series of articles on "the New Normal" to highlight the impact of rapid change on industries, work expectations, and work-life balance and offer readers ways to navigate them. The articles showcase the expertise and diversity of knowledge throughout Emory. 
•	Navigated database to enter and update articles, graphics, and publish issue
•	Reviewed Google Analytics for trends; and generate online newsletter.

Communications Specialist

In this role, I edited a variety of promotional materials and was lead editor on the launch of Aricept®, a drug for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's. The launch of Aricept was one of the most successful in U.S. history.

Wrote and edited medical research materials from abstract to white papers for medical professionals to present at clinical meetings and for journal submission. Established rapport with physicians, pharmacists, and their office staff, to help ensure materials were received and reviewed in a timely manner. Managed workflow in the fast-paced agency environment.
