Was on international assignment (regional focus and global pilots). I paved the path to new, disruptive pharmaceutical solutions like Fertin Pharma, Oti Topic and Vectura. I traveled in mid-2019 to the senior management team of one of the major markets of a Fortune 100 now Tech consumer company to redefine a category.
As a non-smoker, I embraced the opportunity to join one of the world’s largest tobacco producers in a disruptive role that required developing a unique strategy to launch and grow a business line of health harm reduction solutions, representing now >30% of the company’s revenue. My desire to diminish the influence of tobacco products tipped my decision to play the role of a change agent in this organization with a will to disrupt from the inside.
Originally hired as the digital and E-commerce director, I was promoted to lead a board of Growth/ Marketing/ Communications, Digital/E-commerce/Product, Data Analytics teams and global pilots.
I built marketing, digital and data science high-performing teams from the ground up. I oversaw the strategic and tactical deliveries of 3 senior directors (70+ team). I also sponsored as an SME in critical mission cross-functional team projects. 

Notable contributions:
* Positioned Mexico as one of the regions for IQOS brand with the highest educated awareness level within 19 months of launch.
* Pioneered debated, bold communication campaigns that triggered massive earned media and organic growth for next-gen businesses. 
* Accelerated lead generation/conversion across digital media, CRM, MGM, and E-commerce (record sell-out mix contribution)

Tasked with developing a new business model as proof of concept that was critical to securing new rounds of financing for the private equity spinoff of OCSIAL (a nanotechnology leader group), I developed strategies to hasten time to market and contain high industrial burn rates. Hired initially as a consultant, I accepted the appointment as global digital marketing and E-commerce director and commercial board member, with a responsibility to guide market launches and act as the primary liaison of marketing/sales outcomes to the head of the investment board. I led a team of specialists serving seven functional areas: community content, customer acquisition, influencers/PR, analytics, e-commerce, omnichannel sales, and digital assets/products.

Notable contributions:
* Reduced significantly the forecasted acquisition cost per order.
* Developed co-branding with French South Riviera luxury distributors and high-end premium retailers while refining strategies to appeal to high-wealth PR influencers. Leveraged PR on two global design award prizes won in 2019.
* Attracted interest from Amazon to collaborate on a joint international innovation launchpad to pioneer the sale of scooters priced at $10K each.
* Launched a complete accessories line portfolio to spur bottom-line results and co-developed a mobile app to enhance the scooter’s iconic experience and support premium pricing.
* Delivered actionable clients across Spain, Luxembourg, France, Italy, and Germany.

In parallel to my corporate role at HAVAS, I launched and exited a startup. I built a social e-commerce community from the ground up, hacking social demand for information sharing, heralded by Mark Zuckerberg and Biz Stone (founder of Twitter) as "the future of human-powered search groups." The platform was integrated into Jelly Inc., a market-leading on-demand search engine, in 2017. I established all functional areas, including product development, marketing, operations, business, and technology partnerships.

Notable Contributions:
* Achieved payback after three months, +25% average month-on-month growth in site traffic with a limited media budget, a 9.3 NPS, a DAU/MAU ratio of 25%, a churn rate of < 1%, and strong user engagement.
I share the experience today with ML, language processing engineers for algorithms development and I participate in AI monetization forums.

* Turned around struggling Mexican operations, delivering an 18X increase in net income between 2007 and 2009, including 23% growth in hotel and restaurant channels after the first year.
* Launched a new skincare business unit (Evian water spray) in Mexico that quickly represented 8% of 2009 bottom-line profitability.
* Reached 96% of market share in Mexico’s premium water category in 2010. Delivered a 6% increase in volume from improved brand value perception, a 26% increase in net sales, and an 11X increase in net income in Caribbean markets.
