Nicolas Bacca
Technology Executive and Entrepreneur in Cryptocurrency Security
Nicolas Bacca is currently the Metaverse Finder at Le Centre, a position he has held since April 2022. In this role, he focuses on exploring and developing opportunities within the metaverse space. Prior to this, he was the Co-Founder and VP of the Innovation Lab at Ledger, a leading company in security and infrastructure solutions for cryptocurrencies, where he worked for nearly nine years until September 2023.1
Bacca has a strong background in technology and security, having founded Ubinity in 2012, which aimed to create secure devices with advanced features. His earlier experience includes roles as Acting CTO at Plug-up International and Founder & CTO at Simulity, where he was involved in designing innovative mobile solutions and hardware security components. He began his career as a software engineer at Oberthur Card Systems, where he contributed to various projects related to cryptography and smartcard technology.1
He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from ENSICAEN (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen) and completed his preparatory classes at Lycée Lavoisier.1
