Nicola Crawford is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in education and organizational management.
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde, a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in Further Education from the University of Stirling, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry with IT and Instrumentation from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Additionally, Nicola has pursued various other certifications and qualifications including in team leadership, managing change, pharmaceutical sciences, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and management.
Nicola has held significant roles in different organizations such as being the Programme Director for DYW at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Faculty Director for Nautical Studies at City of Glasgow College, and Industry Academy Head for STEM at City of Glasgow College.
She has also contributed to the academic field as an Examinations Reviewer for Mathematics at SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority, as well as holding positions as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and Computing at various educational institutions.
Her experience ranges from being a lecturer to a laboratory demonstrator, showcasing her versatility and expertise in the education sector. Prior to her academic roles, she also served as a Pharmacy Technician at NHS.
