Nico Johnson

Nickalus Johnson is a seasoned entrepreneur, executive, and high-achieving sales professional in the renewable energy industry. He is the host of SunCast podcast, where he interviews thought leaders and change agents in the field of renewable energy, and has a global audience of thousands in over 100 countries with nearly 300K downloads. Nickalus brings to the table almost two decades of experience in marketing and sales, team and change management, and working in Latin America for major global companies, including his solar sales and marketing company and his work in executing utility-scale solar project development, product sales, and finance.

Nickalus has held positions of increasing responsibility in strategic account acquisition, distribution strategy, and sales channel management in the Americas. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala, he facilitated cross-functional communication skills, including Spanish fluency, which he has honed in business settings, enabling him to help scale renewable energy businesses in the US and abroad.

Nickalus holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Spanish, and Music from the University of South Carolina and an MBA in Sustainable Business Management, Social Impact Management, and International Market Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. He is also an active member of Clean Energy Revolution, and a former board member of the Northern California Solar Energy Association.
