Nicky Yates

Nicky Yates is a highly skilled operations and nonprofit leader with over a decade of experience in technical innovation and social justice. She is passionate about merging technology and social issues to help nonprofits and startups grow. She has served as Deputy Director at The Adventure Project, Director of Strategy and Communications at Buzz Radar, and Director of Communications at Crowdcentric. Nicky's professional background also includes serving as an Online Communications Manager at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and as a Child Victim Specialist at New York County District Attorney's Office. She is highly skilled in project management, program management, organizational development, process improvement, business development, business operations, systems implementation, and non-profit administration. Nicky is a data-driven and socially perceptive operations manager who enjoys digging into the details and streamlining systems, using technology in intelligent ways. Nicky holds a BA in Psychology from Oral Roberts University and an MA in Psychology from New York University. She also studied at Alliance Francais. When not working with partners, she can be found running or learning a new skill.
