Nick Tomaino is the Founder and General Partner of 1confirmation, a leading early-stage venture fund that supports founders fueling the decentralization of the web and society.134 He founded the firm in 2017 after previously working at Coinbase in business development.23

1confirmation started with a $26M fund and has since grown to over $1 billion in assets under management.4 The firm's early-stage investments include OpenSea, Farcaster, Worldcoin, Polkadot, Cosmos, Polymarket, dYdX, and Degen among others.4

Prior to starting 1confirmation, Nick was a Principal at Runa Capital and worked in business development at Coinbase in the early days of the company.3 He has a Bachelor's degree from Yale University.3
