In 2014, he faced federal charges for cyber-stalking after attempting to blackmail a female college student by posing as a researcher conducting a study on women's anatomy. He solicited nude photographs under the pretense of a research project, later threatening to expose her if she did not send additional explicit content. This led to an FBI investigation, and he was ultimately sentenced to over three years in prison for his actions.134
