Nick Gillespie is an American libertarian journalist and editor currently serving as Vice President at the Reason Foundation.35 Born on August 7, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, Gillespie has had a long career in journalism and libertarian advocacy.12
Gillespie joined Reason in 1993 and has held various positions within the organization.3 He served as editor-in-chief of Reason magazine from 2000 to 2008 and as editor-in-chief of Reason.com and Reason TV from 2008 to 2017.1 Currently, he is an editor-at-large at Reason.13
