Nick Gatens

Nick Gatens is a talented and versatile designer with a passion for digital imaging and photography. He has an impressive track record of identifying inefficiencies in various workflows and implementing effective solutions that improve productivity and accuracy. He studied Graphic Arts at Putnam Career & Technical Center and honed his skills in a diverse range of environments, including Innovative Mattress Solutions, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Kentucky Living Magazine, and Rue La La, where he served as the Manager of Imaging. At Rue La La, Gatens taught himself the basics of Javascript and Applescript and used his newfound knowledge to introduce custom Photoshop automation to the imaging process, which doubled imaging efficiency and increased image quality while reducing imaging errors.
