Nick Broad is the founder and director of The Busking Project, an organization dedicated to growing the busking economy and celebrating street performers around the world.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester and has studied Creative Writing with a GPA of 3.7 at The New School.
Nick has a diverse professional background, having served as the Co-Producer of the Vancouver Busker Festival at aMillion Bazillion Arts Society and as an Educational Writer and Webmaster at Channel Thirteen, PBS.
Prior to that, he worked as an Intern at Our Town and held roles as a House Pro and Bartender at Eastside Billiards & Bar.
Passionate about advocating for busking and street performers, Nick actively promotes the message that 'busking is not a crime' and encourages hiring buskers for events.
His dedication to supporting the art of busking has made him a key figure in the industry, driving positive change and recognition for street performers globally.
