Nicholas Zingo is a highly qualified individual with a background in law enforcement and education. As a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Master Instructor and Certified Trainer in Training from the BACK of the Room (TBR), Nicholas has a strong focus on experience-based learning and actively engaging students in the learning process.
With a degree in Criminology and Justice Studies, Nicholas emphasizes the importance of changing behavior through learning. He incorporates various training methodologies such as RIDEM and concepts from TBR including the 4Cs and the 6Ts by Sharon Bowman. Nicholas Zingo holds a diverse educational background, including studies at the FBI-DOJ, the University of Virginia, California State University-Long Beach for MPA in Organizational Management & Public Policy, and University of Detroit Mercy for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Throughout his career, Nicholas has held various roles in education and law enforcement. He has been a facilitator of learning experiences at California State University, Northridge, a professor at Ventura County Community College District, an adjunct professor at Los Angeles Community College District, a teacher/instructor at Long Beach City College, a former Police Captain at Los Angeles Police Department, and a former Police Officer at Detroit Police Department.
