Nicholas Ware

Nicholas Ware is a legal powerhouse with extensive experience in international commercial, compliance, and enforcement law in emerging markets across Latin America and Asia Pacific. He is a former diplomat, intelligence officer, and US Marine. Ware has worked with various organizations, including the Motion Picture Association, Business Software Alliance, and SAP. At the Motion Picture Association, he served as the Vice President and Regional Director, responsible for all litigation and intellectual property protection in Latin America. He disrupted major pirate networks and established dispute resolution and litigation strategies. At SAP, he worked in the Legal Compliance and Integrity Office and served as the Director of License Compliance for Latin America and the Caribbean. Ware's experience extends beyond the legal field to lobby and writing. He was on the negotiation team for the passage of WIPO treaties throughout Latin America and received several awards for his legal writing, including Best Article awarded by the Florida Bar International Law Section.

As a former non-commissioned officer of the United States Marine Corps, Ware's leadership style emphasizes teamwork and service. He understands that real leaders follow a path to greater service, not privilege. Ware studied juris doctor at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy and rowing from the University of California, Berkeley.
