Nicholas van Gysen

Nicholas van Gysen is a highly skilled finance and information systems professional with a strong track record of success in quantitative analysis and consultancy roles. He studied Information Systems at the University of Cape Town and followed it up with a degree in Finance. Along the way, he also attended St Stithians College. Over the years, Nicholas has held several senior-level positions, including Senior Quantitative Analyst at BT Financial Group, Senior Consultant at Lucsan Capital, and Head of Equities Front Office Murex Support at ANZ.

He has also worked as a Business Support and Development Equity Derivatives expert with Standard Bank Group. Nicholas has amassed extensive experience with trading analysis, quantitative development, and front office business analysis in derivatives and equities. In addition to his extensive work experience, Nicholas has also given back to the community through his work as a Head Tutor and Course Assistant at the University of Cape Town.
