Nicholas Lee is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in FinTech, product development, and business strategy, primarily in the payment sector. He has worked in 11 countries, including Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and the UK, bringing a wealth of international experience to his roles.
His expertise spans various areas such as payment FinTech innovation, agile product development, mobile payment infrastructure development, eCommerce and mCommerce business development, strategic and operational consulting, data-driven marketing, and product management. He is also skilled in new business ideation, development, and incubation, along with building high-performing teams and people management.
Nicholas completed his MBA at Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, enhancing his strategic and leadership capabilities. He also pursued a BA at the University of Rochester.
Throughout his career, Nicholas has held notable positions in renowned organizations. He served as the Vice President of Digital & Emerging Partnerships at Mastercard, showcasing his proficiency in driving digital initiatives and forming strategic partnerships. He has also held key roles at Visa, including VP & Head of Digital Product Commercialization, Asia Pacific, Head of Products in Hong Kong & Macau, and Head of Digital Solutions in the same regions. Prior to his roles at Visa, he worked as the Executive GM, leading Mobile & E-Commerce at Samsung Card. Nicholas also gained valuable experience at American Express as Vice President of Business Development, at EY as a Management Consultant in the Financial Services Industry, and at Citibank as a Management Associate in Finance.
