Nicholas Hughes is a skilled mechanical engineer with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the prestigious University of Nottingham, where he achieved First Class Honours (1st). He has extensive experience in the energy industry, having worked in various roles at bp, including Analyst for Europe & International Development, Strategic Chartering, Origination & Business Development for European Gas & Power, and Structured Finance & FX Risk at BP Global Treasury. He began his career at bp as a Commercial Trading & Shipping Intern before becoming a graduate and took on higher roles. Nicholas also took part in an Engineering Research Placement Intern sponsored by BP while studying at the University of Nottingham. He is currently employed at Lightsource bp as an Analyst for Europe & International Development.
