Nicholas Foo

Nicholas Foo is a curious polymath, engaged innovator, and growth builder who brings a wealth of experience in business development, design thinking and sustainable growth. He is currently the Head of Development at Duffel, London-based travel tech startup, where he oversees the company's growth and expansion. Before Duffel, he was Head of Business Development at Grab, Southeast Asia's largest tech scale-up, where he launched and ran a US$44m business unit and started a US$7m business. With an impressive portfolio, Nicholas has worked across various markets, including Singapore, UK, India, and Indonesia.

Aside from his professional career, Nicholas advises and mentors London and Singapore-based startups on commercial strategy, achieving product-market fit, and building sustainable growth. He is also the Co-Founder of Takachya Pte Ltd, an e-commerce micro-business, and loves photography, creative arts, and Liverpool Football Club.

Nicholas holds a Bachelors's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick, and he studied Semester Programme in Art Valuation, Art Law & Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.
