As a business banking officer for Charter One Bank, my primary responsibilities included developing new business deposit and borrowing relationships within my territory for business' with sales revenue of $1-5 million, and commercial borrowing needs of $500,000 or less, as well as work with the underwriting team to provide a risk assessment of each borrower and determine the most profitable deal structure for each loan.

Many of the business' I worked with in this capacity were early to mid-stage growth companies that had equipment, real estate, and working capital financing needs.

At First Midwest Bank, my Business Banking Relationship Management responsibilities were to create and foster commercial client relationships through a network of community contacts including local accountants, attorneys, physicians, and business networking groups.

Loan review analysis included assessing the condition and quality of guarantor credits based on financial, collateral and documentation analysis and determining the appropriate risk rating according to lending policy criteria.
