Who is Niall Doherty?

Niall Doherty is the founder of eBiz Facts, a website that researches and shares different ways of making money online. He was born and raised in Ireland but has lived abroad for the past 15 years.1

After finishing college in Ireland, Doherty moved to New Orleans in the USA due to his love for basketball. He started a fan website about his favorite NBA team that later became affiliated with ESPN, allowing him access to the locker room and courtside seats.1

In 2007, Doherty worked as a web designer in New Orleans. Inspired by the 4-Hour Workweek and early digital nomads, he quit his job in 2010, started his own business, and began traveling the world. He spent 44 months circumnavigating the globe through 37 countries without flying, even crossing the Pacific on a cargo ship.1

Since completing his round-the-world trip, Doherty has lived in various cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Gran Canaria, Bali, and Tbilisi. He started eBiz Facts at the end of 2018 with the goal of becoming the trusted resource people recommend when asked how to make money online.1

As a consultant, Doherty provides services related to ecommerce, project management, SEO, and web development. He leads a small team at eBiz Facts, which now attracts around 100,000 visitors per month.2

Doherty currently resides in Andorra, a small country between France and Spain, after getting married last year. He is passionate about building an online business and shares his journey through his website, newsletter, and social media.3
