Nia Jones

Nia Jones is the Director of Talent at KIPP Baltimore, where she is responsible for recruitment and talent management. Her role involves designing and implementing innovative strategies to cultivate diverse candidates within the Baltimore area and beyond. She emphasizes creating a robust talent pipeline for teachers and school leaders, as well as fostering a supportive culture for staff and faculty members.134

Jones has a strong background in human resources and education. Before her current position, she served as the Director of Talent at KIPP Baltimore from February 2015 to June 2016. She also held roles such as Human Capital Specialist at Baltimore City Public Schools and Program Associate at Baltimore City Teaching Residency.12

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work, both from Morgan State University.12 Additionally, Nia Jones operates her own consulting company, On Purpose with Nia, LLC, which focuses on providing human resources services through a social work lens.2
