Nhung Nguyen

Nhung Nguyen is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Horizon Legacy, a position she has held since January 2023.1 Prior to becoming CEO, she served as the Vice President of Development at Horizon Legacy from July 2012 to January 2023.1

Nhung is an engineer by training, with a background in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa and Environmental Management from Harvard University.1 Her career includes experience as a Director at Foghorn Renewable Energy and as an Engineer at Omnitrol Networks.1

At Horizon Legacy, Nhung is focused on transforming the seven-decade-old company into a leader in construction technology and robotics.12 She has over 15 years of experience developing complex infrastructure projects valued at $150M.4

Nhung has received several honors and awards throughout her career, including:

• Best New Entry at the US Navy ONR & AUVSI's 7th International Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Competition (2004)1
• Rural Initiatives Award for the Ernestown Wind Park project (2012)1

• Stewardship Award from the Ontario Water Power Association (2021)1

Nhung is actively involved in promoting innovation in the construction industry, particularly in the areas of automation and robotics.3 She aims to use new technology to address productivity challenges in the housing sector.3
