Nevin Ong is a well-rounded HR professional with over a decade worth of experience in various fields including ICT, engineering, biomedical sciences, e-commerce, and corporate functions. He has a Bachelor of Business with specialization in HR Consulting from Nanyang Business School, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology from Singapore Human Resource Institute. Nevin is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt since April 2015, and is an active alumni of the Nanyang Business School HR Community and NTU Hall 5 Alumni Association.
Currently, Nevin is Senior Manager of Group Talent Management at Singtel, where he uses his expertise to sharpen their talent and leadership strategies. In his role, he enables Singtel's talent and leadership agenda, and fuses Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Operations, Digital Transformation, HR Projects, and Change Management to achieve HR objectives. His previous roles include Manager of the Future of Work (HR), HR Manager (Business Partner), Manager (People Search) at Garena Online, and Senior Officer (HRBP) at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, among others.
Some significant projects that Nevin has worked on include the People Search strategy at Garena Online, where he developed and implemented talent acquisition and employer branding strategies to build the company's brand, increase employee morale, and improve overall productivity. At A*STAR, he was involved in various projects such as diversity and inclusion, as well as talent development and capacity planning initiatives.
